Are GATE scores accepted in Germany? Are all universities in Germany free?
I am in my B.Tech final year with 85% till now, expecting around 90%. Can I give GATE and apply to the top German institutes? Is it free education in Germany? Please guide.

Hi Snigdha,
No, while all bachelor programs are free in German Public Universities, many Master’s program may have a nominal fee. However, most of the MS programs do not have a tuition fee. This does not mean it is free. There are other fees like accommodation, university semester fee, etc. This is rather nominal.
Also, many universities accept GATE and some even require it mandatory. Others require a GRE score. Basically, it would depend on the course and the university.
