IIITs and NITs both are good in their own aspects. NITs offer a lot of courses whereas IIITs provide mainly CSE,IT,ECE and integrated courses in these branches only. These branches have a really nice course in them like IT in IIIT Allahabad is really good in course structure as well as placements both. But I would say that if you are getting good branches in top NITs then you don't need to give a second thought and if you wish to opt for IT then IIITA is a really nice option.

It is not so, as some of the IIITs are the worst then NITs and the same in vice-versa. It mainly depends on the placements and infra of the institute.
