I'm doing Diploma in IT and my average result is 9.4 SPI, so are there any lateral entries supported for Diploma holders? If yes, then are there any scholarships available for scholar students?

Yes, LPU offers Lateral entry admission in a number of courses of engineering and other fields. Further, this university is having a well defined scholarship policy for meritorious students and even offers scholarship up to 50% of the fee per semester, based on LPU NEST. LPU conducts its own entrance exam, i.e. LPU NEST pan India level which provides handsome amount of scholarship throughout the degree. LPU offer lateral entry programmes after Diploma. The eligibility for B.Tech Lateral entry is 60% marks in Diploma in Engineering (any stream), which is of 3 years. After class 10th or after 10+2 (Non-Medical) or B.Sc (Non- medical)/ B.Sc (Computer Science) or equivalent + LPU-NEST. So, you have to qualify an entrance test NEST.
