Yes, it is actually far better to stay in a hostel rather than PG because I have seen that my known and my friends who lived outside the become mostly irregular in the classes and the common problem was bad company, late-night parties. I have observed the cases like fighting, theft, intoxication are outside only. I have seen parents crying and worried for their children in front of mentors and teachers regarding their low attendance issues, Backlogs, degree delays, etc. So I will prefer as alumni to stay in hostels only. 4. Rooms are with Beds, study table, chair, almirahs, desert cooler, and geyser.
5 AC rooms are also available in the different seater options like5,4,3,2,1 etc.
6. Differential and hygienic food facility and Mess and canteen facility in every hostel is there.
7. Laundry facility
8. Gym facility to remain fit
9. Over and above the medical facility being provided inside the beautiful campus.
10. 24*7 electricity supply and Wi-Fi.
11. There are general facilities such as a dedicated hotline and power backup for 24 hrs power supply at the university campus.
12.60+ATMs of 5 nationalized banks and Post Office facilities for money transfer, speed post, etc.
13. Study room, TV room, Saloon, Photocopy Machines, Departmental store for daily needs, Cafeteria, vending Machine (soft drinks), Lifts and Parking facility.
14. University-Mall, an eight-storied complex, houses departmental stores, various shops, banks, food courts. These help students to meet their daily needs on the campus itself.

There are definitely PG options near LPU plus you also have the facility of BUS services of LPU that you can opt to communicate. Just adjacent to LPU is a PG Colony named Law GATE Area, which is completely customized to meet the student needs. It is a walkable distance to LPU. Sports facility is being introduced with membership of 3 different packages of games:SwimmingShootingSquash, Badminton, Volleyball, Basketball and Combative sports. Being an alumnus of LPU is can answer this question. Yes, hostels are so secure and there are so many restrictions on students. Like day scholars are not allowed in hostels. And even hostels are not allowed to go in other hostels this is weird but for security purposes it is good. And for clarity, I have made this restriction in point have a look at below points.
1) 0% Ragging, 0% tolerance to any illegal substances like alcohol, drugs etc. Strict action used to be taken against the defaulters in case non-adherence of to such rules.
2) Students are not allowed to enter any other Hostel without permission of the authority. LPU has Turn

Hi there, Being an alumni as well as an existing student at LPU, my answer is YES. Well, I have been staying at LPU-hostel from past 4 years now and to me it is better than staying outside. There are lots of positive points that make me choose LPU-hostel than an outside PG.
1. The first thing I focus on is the security thing, as they take your responsibility which makes your parents feel less insecure.
2. You will be able to reach your attendance requirements, most of the times because if you stay in hostel during college hours, you will be mostly alone.
