Are MBBS hostel students allowed to go out of the campus?

Why won't they be allowed? I am too an MBBS student. Thing is that there are time restrictions in most of the institutions and those who don't are a bit too liberal.

There won't be much restriction for male students. However, female students in 1st year, 2nd year do face certain restrictions. They have time restrictions for hostels and even in certain colleges they need to take permission from local guardian, hostel warden and mentor for outing.
