    Based on my knowledge, Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board KSEEB had announced in 2021 that MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions) would be scrapped from the SSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate exam. The decision was taken to reduce the burden on students and to promote conceptual understanding rather than rote learning. Whether this decision is right or wrong can be subjective and depends on individual perspectives.
