Are non- GATE students eligible for M.Tech?

My GATE score is 16.33.

    Yes sure. There are lots of colleges which conducts there own entrance exam like Jaypee university. I will suggest you for M.Tech you have to choose Chandigarh University. Department houses forty four laboratories including laboratories certified by top companies like Oracle, HP, CISCO, IBM with the latest hardware and software for enriching the best practical experience by the students. Our college provides facilities such as Wi-Fi, air conditioners labs like Microsoft Innovation Center, SAP labs, CISCO CCNA Labs, BOT labs and many more.     Yes, why not. You can easily get admission in M.Tech without doing GATE. Chandigarh University gives you an opportunity to do M.Tech without GATE. Chandigarh University is best college for master in engineering. Master in Computer engineering provide best opportunity towards Research and development field. What's more, If we talk about Placements, Chandigarh University got the title of "College with best Placements" in india.     Yes, the students who have not qualified the GATE are eligible for M.Tech in various programme. The only thing is that if you get the M.Tech seat through GATE then you are going to get the stipend of Rs. 12,400 else without GATE you can also get the admission in private universities like Chandigarh University which is the best option.

    Candidates who have a valid GATE score (at the time of interview/written test) are eligible to apply for M.Tech. GATE is not required for application to M.Tech on a part-time basis or for the PGDIIT programme.

No, a duplicate GATE 2026 admit card will not be provided at the test center. Candidates must carry their own admit card along with the mentioned documents and items to the GATE exam center. IIT Guwahati will release the GATE admit card on January 2.

Candidates will get only one scribble pad at a time. They must write their name and registration number before using it. If the rough sheet gets filled, then they can ask for another one scribble pad after returning the previous one to the invigilator. After the exam concludes, candidates must return the scribble pad to the invigilator.

Yes, candidates will get a scribble pad in the GATE exam 2026 to do the rough work. Candidates have to write their name and registration number on the scribble pad before using it. However, the rough sheet must be returned after the completion of the exam.
