No, questions based on Engineering Mathematics are not asked in every GATE paper. Question papers with codes AR, CY, EY, GG, M.A. PH, and XL do not consist of Engineering Mathematics questions. Engineering Mathematics and General Aptitude are the compulsory sections, which include 15% weightage each in total marks in GATE papers with codes AE, AG, BT, CE, CH, CS EC, EE, IN ME, MN, MT, PE, PI TF, and XE.
