Students of the department of economics at shivaji College are felicitated with the annual merit cum means scholarships under P. C. Ganguly memorial scholarship. The scholarship is awarded to th students of B.Com (hons. ) II and III year each who secure the highest percentage of marks (above 70% in aggregate) in the college in the first attempt. A monthly scholarship or Rs. 1000 is awarded to the best student of B.A. ( prog. ) Ist year on the basis of his/her examination results.
