Are science subjects good for scoring in IAS exams or Arts subjects?

Some subjects definitely require an intensive and extensive study, surely. Some consider Arts subjects less risky and prepare for UPSC from that stream.

TIna in general student pick History, Economics, Public administration, anthropology in Civil services exam. it is my firm opinion that you may go with any subjects but work hard and go for deep study.
