Are SET cutoffs announced along with SET results?

<p>SET cut offs are not unannounced along with the SET result. Individual participating institutes released their own cutoff and they are known after a few days of result announcement when the colleges start their shortlisting process. The SET scores of the candidates shortlisted for Written Ability Test (What) and Personal Interview PI can be considered the SET cut off for the participating institute. SET cutoff is a major criteria for students to get admissions to their desired colleges. According to the previous years, the SET cutoff in the top institutes generally range from 45 to 89. The SET cutoff varies from one institute to another. The expected SET cutoff for the General category students is 89 and that for those belonging to SC and ST categories is 50 and 48 respectively. These cutoffs may vary after the final SET cutoffs are unannounced by the individual institutes.&nbsp;</p>
