Are short term courses of ux designing helpful? I am thinking to take jumpstarter course from imagine xp? Any suggestions will be helpful.

I have done graduation in B.Tech from information technology branch, I am not working currently, my interest is in designing so want to boost my career in designing. I am looking for good short term course in UX designing please share your experiences that would be of great help.
