No, GH Patel PG Inst. of Business Management is a constituent department of Sardar Patel University. It's neither private nor affiliated to SPU. It's a Department / Faculty of SPU. Much like how MS Patel Inst. is an MBA Department of MSU and BK School is an MBA Department of GU.

GH Patel is affiliated to Sardar Patel University (SPU) and there is another college St. Peter's University (SPU Tamil Nadu).
