Are the faculty supportive and approachable in Chandigarh University fashion department?

<p dir="ltr">Looking back, I found most faculty in CU's Fashion &amp; Design Department to be very approachable. For example, in the Textile &amp; Dyeing Lab, my instructor used to stay back so I could try out a printing technique again until I felt confident. In design studio classes, even shy students are encouraged to share sketch ideas and given thoughtful suggestions. The faculty also organise extra workshops and give feedback during live-projects, which shows they're invested. There are moments when some teachers are stricter about deadlines or attendance, which feels tough, but even then many are open to help if you explain your situation.</p>

Professors usually make time outside class when students have doubts about pattern making or garment construction labs. They correct mistakes patiently, guiding you through hands-on work rather than just pointing out what's wrong. Also, many have industry background, so their feedback includes practical suggestions, not just textbook theory. When you propose ideas for your projects, they listen and often let you explore—even if it means trying something that's a bit different. That said, sometimes you need to remind them or set meetings because they are busy with labs, field visits etc., but overall they do care about student growth and understanding.</p><p>&nbsp;</p>
