Are the job opportunities for EC engineering same as TC engineering? Can I get a job in core electronics companies like Intel or Cisco?

The course structure is almost same for both the branches. It differs only by one or two subjects. You can definitely get placed in the same companies in which the ECE students get placed. However, telecommunication engineering is mainly focused in communication so companies like Airtel, Wipro Communication and other core communication companies come for placements for telecommunication students.
