Are the law courses approved from BCI in LPU?

I am an alumni of Lovely Professional University and I have knowledge about this that the law programmes at LPU is approved by BCI (Bar Council of India). 3 years LL.B programme and 5 years integrated B.A. LL.B (Hons. ), B.Com. LL.B (Hons. ), BBA LL.B (Hons. ) programmes are recognised by the Bar Council of India (BCI) in LPU, a statutory body of the Government of India to regulate and represent the Indian Bar. As a general rule for placements, a lot more will depend upon your own hard work, communication & presentation skills and overall preparation. This would be true for any university you enrol in. Now, I can give you some information about the LPU Law programme from feedback received from some students: - LPU School of Law is approved by BCI: Bar Council of India, which ensures quality education in itself. Moot courtroom sessions are organized along with regular teaching so as to groom students as a lawyer. Companies like MAP Legal Corporation, Manupatra & Co, Integrity Associates, LEGASIS, Thomson Reuters, Chandigarh Bottle and Distilleries, Sumati Legal Corporation, SNT Control Limited, JLL India Limited select LPU students for internships as well as placements. In addition to that, various law firms also recruit students from LPU. So to answer you question specifically, the LL.B programme and B.A. LL.B (Hons. ) and the BBA LL.B (Hons. ) programmes are recognised by the Bar Council of India (BCI) in LPU.

LPU Law school is one of the best law colleges in the country. The School of Law, governed and regulated by the Bar Council of India (BCI), is one of the best Law colleges in India. The curriculum for all the courses is also determined by BCI. To keep the students on top of the latest trends in the field of law, The School of Law takes initiatives to modify the curriculum as and when the need arises. Students have undergone internships at various High Courts, law firms, law chambers, commissions, corporate houses, and NGOs. The Alumni are working as Judicial officers, Legal practitioners, and Corporate advisors, and Civil servants. LPU believes that real learning takes place outside the classrooms. Therefore, students are encouraged to supplement their classroom learning by participating in Moot court and debate competitions that are organised for them. LPU Law students have gained recognition in Moot Court competitions held in various parts of the country. The university has also conducted Moot court competitions at a national level.
