Are the MBA seats available in the B-Schools equal to the number as mentioned on the website or we can switch course after taking admission?

For ex: FMS, Delhi is having 100 seats for general candidates. What if all the general students choose finance as their specialisation? Are the seats for finance, HR, marketing divided by 100 for say 40 are for finance, 30 for HR and 40 for marketing?

Usually, the number of seats is fixed, but there may be many students who are willing to shift. In some cases with disclaimers, the FMS management can switch the course if the seats are available.

    Hi
The colleges have fixed number of seats for a particular course. But in case some students fail to join some issue, the student leaves his seat, in such cases, the seat becomes available for the waiting list students. So it is always advisable to decide and book your seat after a deep thought about your passion. You can think and decide for any of the following according to your interest.
    1) MBA (Hons) 2 years. (6 Terms)
    2) MBA (Hospital and Healthcare Management)2 years. (6 Terms)
    3) MBA (Tourism and Hospitality)2 years. (4 Semesters)
    4) MBA (International Business)2 years. (6 Terms)
    5) MBA (Business Analytics)2 years. (6 Terms)
    6) MBA (

Well, nobody can answer you on this particular thing for any institution until practically ground reality is not checked. Either you take an example of FMS, Delhi, UBS, Chd, LPU, Jalandhar or any other top Business school. Usually, the number of seats is fixed, but there may be many students who are willing to shift. In some cases with disclaimers, you may be allowed to switch the course if the seats are available. Hope this will help.

Colleges do providing shifting a stream but that's only if you provide with some relevant reason, the management then thinks and decides the result.

There would not be separate admissions such that, once students are into the course after second semester, specialisations will be opted by the students only in third semester. There is no such thing about the seats.

That completely depends on the college management decision, their policy and the number of seats available at that time.
