B.Tech is a graduation course and B.Ed can be done after graduating. One more thing, B.Ed is treated as a science stream course then. You will have to compete with science stream students.

You can go for B.Ed after your B.Tech. Eligibility for B.Ed in most of the top universities is pass with 55% aggregate marks in B.Tech or BE with specialisation in Science and Mathematics. Rest, it may vary according to the university you choose. Benefits of doing B.Ed are that you can work as secondary school teachers, educational counsellors, educational entrepreneurs, school administrators, freelancers, freelance trainers, instructional designers, etc.

As per the norms of MHRD and AICTE, the candidate who has completed B.Tech can't do B.Ed as he is not eligible to be a teacher in school. The B.Ed is only for candidate who is interested in enhancing education system and seeking a career in teaching job. So, a B.Tech (electronics) graduate is not eligible for B.Ed.
