Are the students with below 75% in CBSE boards eligible to take admission in NITs or IIITs if they clear JEE exam with qualifying score?

Kindly provide information for OBC and general quota candidates.

No, it is not a normal practice in JoSAA but due to pandemic there were relation for past year, there is no chance that they will continue with that.

No, they can't be able to get admission in any of the NIT or IIITs as the minimum qualifying criteria is 75% in boards exam.

According to the education board of India, it is compulsory to get atleast 75% percentile in your 12th respective board, although if you have cleared the JEE exam.

Dear, you should have at least 75% marks in boards for taking admission in NITs, IITs or IIITs (if you are from general/OBC category). The same is for SC/ST, but they have some relaxation of board's percentage. They should have at least 60% marks in boards.
