I am doing B.Tech CSE Hons. From LPU and I SEE a lot of diverse students. Lovely Professional University is the largest university in India having students from all over the country and all over the world. A Big flaunting Yes. I live in Jalandhar city, and LPU is sparsely distant from our place. Many times I have witnessed them roaming in the markets or at eating joints in the city. I have interacted with them few times and to my surprise every time I found them LPU students. Believe me with serenity they told me that they are students of LPU. Hi there, The answer to your question is YES. Well, such a nice question. I myself pursued Masters in Mathematics from LPU back in year 2019 and then I got admission in LPU for Ph.D. in the same. LPUPET or PET that refers to the Physical Efficiency Test of LPU is exercised offline. Fitness is evaluated through running, jumping, and sports drills that are not done online or on the campus premises.
LPU's Physical Efficiency Test (LPUPET/PET) is in fact not an hour-long session with a fixed time allotment; rather, it is a combination of physical tasks conducted in succession sprinting for 50m, broad jump, overhead medicine ball throw (3 kg for men and 2 kg for women), and finally 1000m of run/walk. The time taken in doing the complete tasks varies with the fitness of the candidate, commonly taking from 20 to 45 minutes for a session. The candidates are allowed a maximum of two attempts.
