Are there any central government institutes like IITs offering Animation and Graphics courses?

Hi Well, NID does offer a course in animation design. It also has courses in communication/ new media. Although NID has not yet acknowledged the fields of 3D, VFX and gaming in their teaching. It would be a good course to learn pre-production theory. Animation is an art form and a very demanding

Hi Laxmi, Yes, IIT, IDC at Mumbai and Guwahati offers B.Des and M.Des programs. One of the specialization in M.Des is Animation Film design. Even NID offers the same. Admissions to both the institutions are via entrance exams. Even lot of private and deemed universities offer Bachelor/Master's prog
