Are there any entrance exams for students who want to join B.Tech in Marine Engineering through lateral entry?

I have done my Diploma in Shipbuilding Engineering. It is a 4-year special course approved by directorate general of Shipping, Govt. of India, and also affiliated by AICTE.

Although there is no such specific time for preparation as "sufficient" time varies based on students preparation schedule. On a whole a period of 3 to 6 months is generally considered ideal for IMUCET preparation.
