Yes, there are exceptions or exemptions for the 60% eligibility requirement for admission to BTech in ECE at Pondicherry Engineering College - PEC.
For SC/ST c&idates, a mere pass is required, & for OBC c&idates, 50% marks are required. Additionally, students admitted through lateral entry can join any BTech degree programme in the second year with a minimum of 60% marks (50% marks for OBC & a mere pass for SC/ST c&idates) in aggregate in the subjects covered from third to final semester of their Diploma course.
