    Yes, there are exceptions or exemptions for 60% eligibility requirement for admission to BTech in CSE at Punjabi University Patiala.


    For the 2020-2021 session, the eligibility criteria were changed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and admission was based on +2 marks instead of JEE rank.


    Additionally, for lateral entry into the 2nd year of the 4-year B.Tech CSE program, Diploma holders with a minimum of 55% marks for SC/ST and disabled persons categories are eligible.
