For admission to B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering at Institute of Technology, the eligibility requirement is 10+2 with minimum 60% Marks in Physics, Mathematics along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Computer Science as one of the subjects. However, there are exceptions for lateral entry, where a candidate who has passed Diploma examination with at least 50% marks in any branch of Engineering and Technology, or a candidate who has passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognised University as defined by UGC, with at least 50% marks and passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject, is eligible.
