Yes, there are exceptions for the 60% eligibility requirement.
- For SC/ST category, a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate is required.
- For PwD category, a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate is required.
- Bachelor degree holders from IITs with a CGPA/CPI of 8.00 or above are exempted from the GATE score
