    For 2-year government lab/public sector/industry sponsored M.Tech programs and 2-year online M.Tech programme for working professionals, GATE is not mandatory. Additionally, for Mode RA2 (B.Tech degree from IITs) and Mode TA2 (B.Tech degree from IITs), the eligibility requirement is a CGPA score above 8, and admission is through interview and written test. SC, ST, and OBC candidates will be provided relaxation as per the standard GOI norm for deciding the cutoff marks.
