If you are good in programming and you see yourself as a software professional, then BCA-MCA is better than BCA-MBA. It will fetch you a good grip over your subjects since both are correlated rather than BCA MBA. MBA can be preferred if you wish to switch to management studies.

One shouldn't compare the courses. Both have good scope when done from reputed college / university. All that decide the final thing is your field of interest. Do MCA of you're more into technicality and otherwise MBA.

There are a lot of good jobs if you have MBA degree in Information Technology. If you have degree BCA+MCA then you can perform good in programming, developing software, game development, application development and many more.

I would suggest you to go for MCA after your BCA, because if you have knowledge and interest in software field then enhance your knowledge by pursuing MCA. And MCA will also give you good job opportunities.

BCA and MCA are totally computer-based and technical, but if you do BCA and MBA, then you will have management knowledge as well. So, the choice is yours now.

Hi Simran, you can land a good job offer from both fields. Just focus on the skills of whatever course you are pursuing. In MCA you will get more technical stuff whereas in MBA you will get more management-related opportunities. So, Don't worry, just give your best shot in whichever field you are in. Both are great!

The point is that no field is good or bad. You have to decide what you wanna do for the rest of your life. What do you love to do the most? At the end of the day, you must be satisfied with the fact that you have done something worthy for the company which pays you to do the same.

Yes, it is a good option to do an MBA after BCA provided you are interested in learning management subjects like operations, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Sales, Human Resources, Production etc. Definitely pursuing MBA is the best option. If not the real world, the classes of MBA are simulated as real world, making the learning close to reality. Wide range of emerging specialisation areas are on offer. LPU is known for its MBA. LPU provides quality education, with great scholarship programs plus holistic learning opportunities. International Exposure Option

Both options are considered good. But, I would recommend you to go for MCA after your BCA because BCA is a base study and after BCA, you should pursue MCA to get complete knowledge of software field.
