    The Government of India regularly recruits officers/ assistants for its different wings in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, These departments include, among others, Prasar Bharati (Doordarshan and All India Radio), Press Information Bureau, DAVP, Field Publicity, CBFC, RNI, Song and Drama Division. Several newsletters and magazines of the Union government, including the Yojana are also manned by officers with mass communication background, Besides, various state Governments also employ officers with mass media qualification or background for their Information departments, All such recruitment are done through open advertis
