Are there any hidden charges that I need to pay over & above the course fee for MBBS at St. John's Medical College?

<p>There are no hidden charges that you need to pay over and above the course fee for MBBS at St. John's Medical College. However, you are required to pay additional fees such as:</p> <ul> <li>Caution deposit of Rs. 10,000/-</li> <li>Library deposit of Rs. 3,000/-</li> <li>Lab deposit of Rs. 3,000/-</li> </ul> <p>These deposits are refundable after the deduction of dues, if any, when the student leaves the institution after completing the course.</p> <p>Also, you need to execute a social obligation service bond to serve for two years in a medically underserved area, and if you fail to fulfill this commitment, you will have to pay a penalty of Rs. 25,00,000/-. </p> <p>Late payments will attract a penalty of Rs. 50/- per day which will have to be paid along with the term fee. </p> <p>Examination fee as prescribed by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and other fees, if any, will be notified at the time of admission or at the appropriate time.</p>
