Are there any Indian engineering colleges that are ranked globally?

Indian engineering colleges are ranked very low in the rankings of engineering colleges all over the world. The first Indian engineering college that makes to the top of the world is in the range of 300 to 400 rank. There are many Indian engineering colleges that make to the list of best engineering colleges all over the world in top 1000 rank and they are as follows: 1) Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore (IISc) 2) IIT- Delhi 3) IIT -Madras 4) IIT- Roorkee 5) IIT-Guwahati 6) IIT-Bombay 7) IIT-Kanpur 8) IIT-Kharagpur 9) Birla Institute of technology and science, Pilani 10) Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi 11) Punjab University 12) University of Delhi or DU 13) Jawaharlal Nehru University 14) Anna University. These are the colleges that have made into the top 1000 ranks of many ranking systems all over the world. But some of these colleges have made into top 200 colleges of engineering all over the world in the ranking systems of QS and TCS and they are Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore (IISc) and IIT, Delhi. The ranking system in which some of the Indian engineering colleges made to the top were based on the placement provided by the college. Hello, Yes there are many colleges in the world rankings like QS, BRICS and Times world university rankings. They are known for their high quality education infrastructure, faculty and the top placements. Some of the top colleges in India that are a part of the world rankings are: 1) Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore (IISc) 2) IIT Delhi 3) IIT Madras 4) IIT Roorkee 5) IIT Guwahati 6) IIT Bombay 7) IIT Kanpur 8) IIT Kharagpur 9) Birla Institute of technology and science, Pilani 10) Banaras Hindu University 11) Panjab University 12) University of Delhi 13) Jawaharlal Nehru University 14) University of Mumbai 15) University of Calcutta 16) Anna University There are still some colleges to list out but these are the top colleges in India which are in the world rankings like QS, BRICS and Times world university rankings. I have provided the list collectively and not by separate rankings.

While we have some world class colleges like some IITs, BITS Pilani, and IIITs, they don't fall in the top 100 global engineering universities as per THE rankings of 2017. IIT Delhi was in the 90-100 batch as per rankings of 2015. These bodies calculate rankings of the universities based on a number of factors essential for an engineering college to be considered the best in the world and capable of turning students into knowledgeable, skillful, reliable, and all rounder working professionals, having social and corporate ethics. To be the top in the world, the engineering colleges in India will have work on a holistic point of view for the development of student, including the course structure, Infrastructure including technologically advanced labs, well trained professors and focus more on practical projects.
