Yes, candidates must be Indian citizens to be eligible for SSC MTS. Additionally, candidates of other nationalities (e.g., Nepal, Bhutan, Tibetan refugees, etc.) may be eligible under certain conditions, as specified in the official notification.
The Staff Selection Commission mentioned all the important nationality conditions in its official notification. The candidates will be required to fulfil all these nationality requirements in order to apply for the SSC MTS application.
