Desh Bhagat University (DBU) provides placement opportunities for B.Sc. Biotechnology graduates, although it primarily depends on individual academic performance, practical skills, and participation in internships. The university has an active placement cell offering career counselling, employability training, and placement drives. Top recruiters include companies across biotech, healthcare, and IT sectors, such as Cipla, Johnson & Johnson, and Wockhardt. However, the overall placement percentage at DBU was reported to be 43% in 2022, with an average package of 4.5 LPA and the highest package of INR 8 LPA.
