Are there any prerequisites for Investment Banking course?

<p>Well it always helps having basic level knowledge on finance, Excel and accounting. However. there are a few courses I do know who will also provide the basics, before going into advanced portions of the subject. The most important part is the willingness to learn new things at any given moment.&nbsp;</p><p>If you have that mindset, anything you wish to pursue is far more possible (some exceptions exist of course).</p><p>That said if you're a total novice in IB you should of course begin self study yet aim for a short term course certification on that subject preferably with guidance/mentorship.&nbsp;</p><p>Off the top of my head, I know of IIM Skills, who provide investment banking courses with certification. They also have a demo classes for anyone curious. They are worth a check in my opinion.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Basic knowledge of finance, accounting, and Excel is important for those who want to enrol in investment banking courses. Advanced level investment banking courses will require fundamental knowledge of investment banking concepts.</p>
