Kakatiya Institute of Technical Education and Research contains many scholarship programmes which can assist 20% of students. Scholarship types include:
- Merit-based: 50 scholarships up to Year 20,000 Rupees
- Means-based: 100 scholarships which include tuition fee only up to Rs 15000 per year.
- SC/ST scholarships: Two hundred, full fee exemption
- EBC scholarships: £150 beneficiaries, tuition fee half-rate
- Sports scholarships: 20 beneficiaries; up to Rs. 10000 per annum
- Research grants: 10 projects, up to Rs. 50 000 per project
Total scholarship amount: Rs. 1.5 crore/year.
