Additionally, certain community trusts offer scholarships to students from their own communities, with details provided as notifications to students periodically.</p><ol><li>Jindal Trust Scholarship2</li><li>.Government Scholarships for SC/ST Students - Available for students with family incomes below Rs. 1,00,000 per annum (sanctioned by the Social Welfare Department). Applications are required every semester.</li><li>Fee Concession for SC/ST Students- For students with family incomes above Rs. 1,00,000 per annum, sanctioned by the Director of Technical Education, Bangalore.</li><li>&nbsp;Tuition Fee Refund - For students (other than SC/ST) from families with an income of Rs. 11,000 or less per annum, sanctioned by the District Backward Class &amp; Minorities Department. Applications are accepted in December.</li><li>&nbsp;Scholarships for Children of Ex-Servicemen - Sanctioned by the Sainik Welfare and Rehabilitation Department.</li><li>Merit Scholarships - Provided by the Director of Collegiate Education Department, Bangalore.</li><li>Scholarships for Physically Handicapped Students - Sanctioned by the Women and Children Welfare Department.</li><li>State-Specific Government Scholarships - Scholarships from the governments of Andaman-Nicobar, North Eastern Council Secretariat (Shillong), Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, and Nagaland, available only for Government of India quota students.</li><li>Defence Scholarships - For children of defense personnel, sanctioned by the Department of Collegiate Education, Bangalore. Applications are accepted in December.</li><li>Navalgund Sirsangi Trust Scholarships- For students belonging to the Lingayat community.</li></ol><p>For SC/ST, BCM students, and students from other eligible income groups, it is mandatory to apply on time with complete documentation, including caste, income, and academic marks. However, address and terms and conditions of all the scholarships can be had from the office. A few scholarships are also being given by various community trusts to students of their own communities, the details of which are notified to the students from time to time.</p><ul><li>M/s. Jindal Trust Scholarship, Sitaram Jindal Foundation, Jindal Nagar, Tumkur Road, Bangalore-560073.</li><li>Government Scholarships for SC/ST students whose income is below Rs. 1,00,000/- per annum (Sanctioned by Social Welfare Department).
