Are there any scholarships available to international students?

RMIT offers Future Leaders Scholarship which provides students belonging to Indian sub-continent 20% tuition fee reduction for eligible programs. This scholarship is applied to students who want to pursue Bachelor's and Master's by coursework program. As per this scholarship, there is a 20% tuition fee reduction for the programme duration outlined on the offer letter. The eligibility of this scholarship is: 

• Be a citizen of India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal or Pakistan

• Be an international student having a valid student visa or plan to apply for a student visa prior to the start of the program

• Have an offer letter to commence the studies in the particular year

Meeting the RMIT eligibility criteria is mandatory for all international students to receive an offer letter. Mentioned below is the detailed eligibility criteria: 

• Academic Qualification: Completion of the Indian Senior Secondary Certificate (10+2) or equivalent from a recognised board like CBSE, ISE, or others. 
• Subject Requirements: Based on the RMIT course chosen, certain subject requirements might be there. For example, Engineering or Science courses may require Mathematics or Physics in 10+2.
• English Language Proficiency: Indian students need to prove the English language requirement, as the courses offered by the university are taught in English. Minimum scores required are mentioned below: 

• Foundation or Pathway Courses by RMIT: If an International student does not meet the minimum entry requirements, they may be eligible for RMIT foundation or pathway programs to prepare for UG studies.
• Work Experience: Some PG courses may require some level of professional work experience.
