Yes, like all other universities, DSPMU has also the seat reservation system. In every course, out of the total seats, 40% of the seats are reserved for Open Merit where students from different states including Jharkhand, they can take admission on the basis of the mark irrespective of the Caste sys

Yes, there are different types of reserved seats like few seats are reserved for SC-ST only. There are also few reserved seats for economically weak student and disabled student.
