Yes, Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT) follows seat reservation policies as per the guidelines set by the government of India. The reservations are based on different categories to ensure inclusivity and equal opportunities for students. The seat reservation categories typically include:
    Scheduled Castes (SC)
    Scheduled Tribes (ST)
    Other Backward Classes (OBC)
    Economically Weaker Sections (EWS)
    Persons with Disabilities (PwD)
    Defense Personnel
    Kashmir Migrants
    Foreign Nationals/NRI/NRI Sponsored.

Publicly they do not endorse there reservation scheme but once you go to admission cell after going through counselling there are chances you get some benifits. There are two process to get admission first from JEE Mains and second 12 the Boards. If you are from Sc/St category, after showing your documents, you will get admission easily at the required cutoff for that branch.

For Biotechnology and Bioinformatics,50% seats will be allotted through JEE Mains and the rest 50% will be allotted on 10+2 merit basis. 10% seats at JUIT Waknaghat will be reserved for the students of Himachal Pradesh.
