Yes, there is seat reservation at SEC - Saveetha Engineering College for different categories like management quota and government quota and their is a sports quota etc. The TNEA reservation 2023 which is distributed into 7 categories i.e. OC, BC, BCM (BC Muslim), MBC & DNC, SC, SCA, and ST.
General: 31%
Backward Classes (BC): 26.50%
Backward Class Muslim: 3.50%
Most Backward Class & Denotified Communities: 20%
Scheduled Castes: 15%
Scheduled Caste (Arunthathiyars): 3%
Scheduled Tribes: 1%
