  • Yes. The authorities have prepared certain tie-breaking rules for situations where two or more candidates secure the same scores in the entrance examination. Firstly, the tie will be broken by allotting the higher rank to the candidate who has secured higher marks in Mathematics/Biology. If the tie still exists, then the candidate's score in Physics will be considered for allotment of higher rank. If the tie still exists, then the candidate's score in Chemistry will be considered. Finally, if the tie still persists, then the score obtained in the 12th standard qualifying examination will be considered for allotment of higher rank.
