are there are any animation colleges (govt one) offering diploma of 2 years in animation?
madam/sir,private institutes charge a lot of fees,therefore i am asking for govt colleges.help me out.

Shalin you can go for NID, or there are even other centres of learning coming up that are run by government support and offer reduced fee. however the competition could be tough and you must be very creative to get through NID. A good mentor and wise selection of courses with a good school, followed by diligent learning, would get you a head start in your career. Animation is an art form and a very demanding career. It has ample opportunities for the creatively talented people. NID offers two and half year PG in Animation Film Making. Even IDC, IIT Mumbai offers the similar programs as PG. Both are Government owned.
Animation calls for a wide bouquet of skills from traditional art skills to articulation skills, storytelling to aesthetic appreciation, and creativity to technical prowess.
Learning Software alone won't help you. First acquire artistic skills on paper, then learn application software's for expressing skills in the Digital Medium.
