    Yes, there are exceptions to the 60% eligibility requirement for admission to B.Ed. in Special Education at Ambedkar Open University.


    The candidate should be an Indian Citizen and have at least 50% marks in Bachelor's Degree and/or Master's degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Humanities.


    For SC/ST/BC/PH categories, the eligibility is 40% in the qualifying exam.


    Additionally, there is a 5% relaxation of marks for candidates who are parents of a child with a disability, persons with a disability possessing a disability certificate, or those possessing any RCI-approved diploma/degree.
