<p>Yes, there are exceptions to the 60% eligibility requirement for admission to B.Ed. in Special Education at Ambedkar Open University. </p> <p>The candidate should be an Indian Citizen and have at least 50% marks in Bachelor's Degree and/or Master's degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Humanities. </p> <p>For SC/ST/BC/PH categories, the eligibility is 40% in the qualifying exam. </p> <p>Additionally, there is a 5% relaxation of marks for candidates who are parents of a child with a disability, persons with a disability possessing a disability certificate, or those possessing any RCI-approved diploma/degree. </p> <p>The candidate should have completed 19 years as of 01-07-2019, with no upper age limit. </p> <p>It is also noted that candidates who have passed certain professional courses like MBBS/BDS/BPT/B.Sc.
