- Candidates belonging to SC/ST categories must have a minimum of 55% marks or CGPA of 5.5.
- Bachelor's degree holders from IITs with a CGPA of 8.0 or above are eligible for direct admission without GATE.
- Candidates with a Bachelor's degree from CFTIs with a CGPA of 8.0 or above do not require a valid GATE score.
