The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) has a diverse student body, with international students making up a significant portion of the total student population. According to the university's facts and figures page, 37,865 students were enrolled in 2016, with 4,624 of them registered in either experience-based master's or ICT courses. Out of the total students, 3,629 were international, accounting for 9% of the total student body. These international students come from 122 countries.
