IIT Kharagpur offers students the opportunity to participate in international exchange programs and do research abroad. With partnerships with the University of Melbourne, University of Tokyo and University of Waterloo, the institute opportune students to participate in exchanges and joint doctoral courses. In addition, IIT Kharagpur works with Mitacs (Canada), DAAD (Germany) and the Guru Krupa Foundation (USA) to help students complete research internships worldwide.
