GIBS Business School provides new students with a variety of scholarships and financial aid opportunities based on their academic merit, performance on Entrance Exams (such as CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT, ATMA, GMAT) as well as Leadership Qualities, and Interview Performance. The purpose of these scholarships is to reward high achievers and to lessen the financial burden of Tuition.

In addition to awarding merit-based scholarships, GIBS may also have a few categories for providing Special Assistance/Concessions (such as Fee Concessions or Fee Waivers) to certain economically deserving students or to students who have had an outstanding performa

  • Absolutely, GIBS Business School provides an array of more than adequate financial assistance as well as scholarship opportunities to assist incoming students. In the case of scholarships, these are usually based off of either merit, scores achieved on the entrance exam, as well as academic performances achieved throughout school as well as possible accomplishments outside of school (extracurricular).

Also, in regards to Financial Aid, GIBS offers financial aids to students who have a low or weak economic background. Flexible Payment Plans and Installment Payment Plans are both available for financial assistance that would lessen the bu

Honestly, the thing I like about GIBS is that they don't just say “global exposure” or “industry ready” for marketing. Programs like IRE and CPMP actually make you work on stuff that companies expect outside the classroom.

In IRE, we do a lot of practical learning — projects, ideas, prototypes, presentations, even small entrepreneurship activities. It makes you more confident and helps you learn how to think creatively instead of just memorizing theories.

CPMP is more about preparing us for placements. We get industry mentors, communication training, aptitude prep, grooming sessions, resume and interview practice — all those

From my experience, GIBS offers PGDM in Marketing, Finance, HR, Business Analytics, Entrepreneurship and a few more. The best part is that it is not just classroom theory. Most subjects come with some sort of practical exposure like fieldwork, company projects, startup activities, case studies, and industry sessions.

We also get guest lectures, corporate talks, and mentoring which makes it easier to connect academics with the market. Honestly, the hands-on learning helped me understand placements and career options better because you get a real idea of how things work in companies instead of only writing exams.

Industry Exposure at GIBS Business School is integrated into the curriculum as a continuous and structured part of instruction, rather than just one event. GIBS conducts the following types of activities to keep students connected with industry:

  • Guest Speaker Series (also called Corporate Talks) are held on average every month to every other month throughout the term to bring industry leaders (many of whom are HR professionals) into campus as speakers to give Motivating Talks and share their insights about the industries they represent.
  • Industry visits (multiple visits scheduled and organised each semester) allow students to gain first-h

Not gonna lie, hygiene and maintenance is something I was worried about before joining, but GIBS surprised me. Washrooms are clean (yes, I'm mentioning it again because that's rare in colleges lol), classrooms don't have trash lying around, and the whole new campus feels well taken care of. I've seen staff cleaning even during breaks which keeps the space fresh. It gives that modern B-school feel and makes you comfortable spending full days on campus during PGDM.
