Are Web Designing & Web Development same career paths in india , both 'terms' used as same 'term' for web professionals in india ?

These terms are used seperately in industry and requirements available also demands separate skill sets. Hi Dhruv, Web design encompasses many different skills and disciplines in the production and maintenance of websites. The different areas of web design include web graphic design, interface design, authoring, including standardized code and proprietary software, user experience design and search engine optimization. Whereas, web development is a broad term for the work involved in developing a web site for the Internet (World Wide Web) or an intranet (a private network). Web development can range from developing the simplest static single page of plain text to the most complex web-based internet applications, electronic businesses and social network services.
