As I'm in the final year of my MPhil I'd prefer universities which do not require any preliminary exams if possible.Are there any?

Dear Arpita, If you wish to get admission in a good institute or University, you can not afford to shy away from the admission process like entrance tests. Besides this is a base for offering scholarships. In India, you can not get any Govt scholarship for your doctoral work without clearing JRF.
