Yes, as I mentioned earlier, the age is calculated from the August month of the year in which the exam will be conducted. It is mentioned in the age criteria of the official notification of UPSC. The official notification of UPSC CSP 2022 states that, "The candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and also must not have attained the age of 32 years on the 1st of August, 2022. " It also says that the candidate must have been born not earlier than August 2nd, 1990 and not later than August 1st, 2001. "
